I’m Viv (Viviana Sorensen), a Social Work Psychotherapist and Behaviour Support Clinician. I’m so excited you’re here!
Since graduating from UQ in 2013, I’ve been dedicated to delving deeper into attachment theory and trauma-informed practice, and sharing my passion for it. My journey has been enriched by working with skilled mentors and clinicians who have greatly contributed to my growth. It has been a true honor to provide therapeutic support to women, children, and families, whose strength and resilience continue to inspire me.
My approach focuses on building safe and secure connections with individuals from all backgrounds. My therapeutic approach integrates risk assessments and attachment-focused therapies such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Theraplay.
Our Therapeutic Approach is a Clinical Practice based on the Gold Coast specialising in attachment-based services and consultancy. We offer individual therapy (with Medicare rebates available), NDIS behaviour support and management, family interventions for child-related matters, and clinical supervision (both online and in person). Currently, I am focussing on NDIS services and online supervision. Please explore our website to learn more about our offerings.

For those who have fought, persevered, and are still healing—I stand alongside you.
Together, we can rise above it all with wisdom, truth, love, and most importantly, compassion.” AW
